various activities for youth and families as part of this winter time event.
- Collaborative Program Development Considerations W/ Corn. Rec.. Com.Ed. & ECFE:
Over the past several months staff representatives from Community Recreation,
Community Education and ECFE have been working at developing quality programs
and variety to best meet the needs of the community. Staff cannot do this alone, thus
we are considering methods to strengthen our efforts. I would like to share our ideas
and get your feedback.
- Youthbound: Students from the DECA program at the Ivan Sand Community School
have selected Youthbound for their Marketing Program project. This information will
help us with our future promotional efforts. Participants of Youthbound have been
interested in renaming Youthbound. Several have expressed interest in serving on a
youth governing board and we are asking them to address the name change
consideration. We believe this name change potential will be well timed with information
from the student marketing project and can be part of future promotions.
Youth Association Co-op: We have been meeting regularly to plan for the 1999 season.
Youth Baseball and Girls Fastpitch were each pleased with the vision for future
development at the Youth Athletic Clomplex as proposed and presented to them by
Phil and Dana at the October Association Co-op meeting.
Please call me with any questions. 241-3523. Happy Holidays!
