Recognize the Elk River Lions Club for their generous donation to the Elk River Fire Department.
Background/Discussion
On November 25, 2014, the Elk River Lions contributed $10,500 to the Elk River Fire Department to
purchase two self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) units.
Representatives from the Elk River Lions will be present to present the city with a large symbolic check.
Fire Department staff will also be present to showcase the new SCBA’s.
A resolution acknowledging the contribution was already done in 2014.
Financial Impact
The donation has already been used to purchase two SCBA units.
