Council recognize and accept the "Outstanding Agency" award presented to the Elk River Police
Department by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
Background/Discussion
The Police Department has been named "Outstanding Agency" for promoting traffic safety through
enforcement and partnership activities by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and has been
awarded a piece of law enforcement equipment. The Stalker Radar DSR2X will be presented at the
March 2, 2015, Council meeting.
Financial Impact
As part of this award the Police Department will receive the DSR2X valued at approximately $2,500.00.
