5. Decision Resources Discussion
Decision Resources will have a draft copy of the survey questions to
City Hall by late afternoon, Monday, March 10, 1997, so that staff may
distribute a copy to the Park and Recreation Commission for review
prior to the regular meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 1997. A
representative from Decision Resources will also be present at the
meeting.
I would urge Commission members to prepare for a discussion on the
issues that relate to preparation for a bond issue by considering the
following questions and any others you may have:
• What is the date of the election?
• Who will lead the bond promotion?
• What role should the Park and Recreation Commissioners play?
• What groups can help with the promotion?
• How can the most voters be reached?
• What is the makeup of the bond promotion committee?
• What items should be included on the bond issue?
• Will the results of the survey modify the bond issue?
7. Consider Final Comments on the Master Park Plan
Steve Rohlf will be present to discuss final comments on the Master
Park Plan.
8. County Road 12 Upgrade Discussion
Sherburne County is planning to upgrade County Road 12 from
Highway 169 by Northbound Liquors to the Anoka County line. Is
there a need for a detached trail along part or all of this route? Please
come prepared to discuss this item.

9. Snowmobile Corridors Discussion
Staff will have maps available to pencil in some possible trail corridors
for snowmobiles. This issue is not going away and the City Council
will be looking for a recommendation from the Commission sometime
soon.

Included in this packet for your information is a copy of the results of a
survey conducted by the City of Buffalo.
