DATE: August 3, 1995 ��- SUBJECT: Potential Neighborhood Park Lot 5, Block 8, Westwood Subdivision is among the parcels identified by Sherburne County going tax forfeited. Attached to this memo is vicinity map, a copy of the Westwood Subdivision plat map and a copy of the proposed park service map for this area. The park service area that includes Westwood Subdivision is one of two proposed by the Park and Recreation Commission where it may be hard to find a neighborhood park because of lack of vacant land. Lot 5, Block 8, Westwood Subdivision may be an opportunity to gain a neighborhood park in this area. Staff does have reservations, however. This parcel is extremely small (120 ft. by 65 ft.) and would cost $13,121. Monies to purchase this lot as park should come out of park dedication funds.
