SUBJECT: Agenda Memo
1. Presentation to Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
The Park and Recreation Commission is requested to give a
presentation to the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
regarding the update of the Master Park Plan on Thursday, July 27,
1995, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Elk River City Hall council
chambers. The approach to this presentation needs to be discussed.
This meeting will be a good time to talk about the Master Park Plan
• update, in general.
2. Orono Park Master Plan
Included with this packet, are drawings of Orono Park including the E
& 0 Tool property and City Hall area. With the light agenda at this
meeting, staff feels that it would be an appropriate time to discuss
future plans for Orono Park.
3. Advertisement for Park and Recreation Commission Member
Commissioner Clete Lipetzky has resigned from the Park and
Recreation Commission. His term would of been up at the end of 1995.
An add has been placed in the Elk River Star News, to fill this
position. The application deadline closes on July 14, 1995. However,
as of the date of this memo, no applications have been received. If you
know of anyone who would be interested in this position, please
encourage them to apply at the city hall.
