SUBJECT: Heritage Trail South of 180th Street
Ms. Sue Hallet's residence is located on the west side of Heritage Trail at the
south end. The trail is currently a dead end at this point until
Moldenhauer's second phase of Mississippi Oaks is developed. Ms. Hallet
has expressed her concern for the use of the trail by teenagers as a place to
"hang out" during late evening hours. In response to her concerns, the city
street and park department has placed a sign on the trail at 180th Street
marking "Trail Closed", and the police department has been asked to
increase their patrol of the area.
Ms. Hallet plans to be present at the meeting to share her concerns with the
• Park and Recreation Commission.
