Discussion of Trails in Meadowvale Heights There is an organized effort by the residents of Meadowvale Heights to change or completely abandon part of the trail system. Staff and Councilmembers have suggested to this group that they appear before the Park and Recreation Commission who would then make a recommendation to the City Council for action if necessary. 6. Discuss Sale of Park Property to Sherburne County for Road Improvement See attached memo from Stephen Rohlf. 7. Discuss City Access to the Elk River from Yankton Street Four residents of Yankton Street, north of Highway 10 have been invited to the Park and Recreation Commission meeting to discuss the pros and cons of an access from the end of Yankton Street to the Elk River. The city currently owns a 30 foot wide easement that could be cleared and improved to allow foot traffic from the street to the river's edge. 9. Discuss Bids on Lion's Park Trails I will have quotes fro the paving of some of the trails in Lion's Park, as well as the hockey rink, as handouts at Wednesday's meeting. • 13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
