SUBJECT: YOUTH BASEBALL PROPOSAL DISCUSSION
At the December Park & Recreation Commission meeting, Dan
Heasley, President of Little League Baseball, was present to
discuss a development concept for a four field baseball
complex. The proposal related to working with the School
District for the redevelopment of the fields near Salk Junior
High School . Since the December Commission meeting, Dan has
had additional conversations with representatives of the School
District and I understand that the School District is forming a
committee to evaluate the request and proposal .
It is anticipated that Dan, or someone knowledgeable about the
proposal, will be in attendance at the January Commission
meeting to provide everyone with an update.
