6.1 Sportech: DEED job Creation Fund Application
Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report.
Moved by Commissioner Dwyer and seconded by Commissioner Olsen to
adopt resolution 15 -2 of the Economic Development Authority of the City of
Elk River Supporting the job Creation Fund Application in Connection with
Envision Company, dba Sportech. Motion carried 7 -0.
6.2 Microloan for Distinctive Iron
Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report.
The commission let the applicant know how excited they were to have their business
locating to Elk River.
Moved by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Olsen to
adopt resolution 15 -3 of the Economic Development Authority, County of
Sherburne, Sate of Minnesota, Approving Loan Agreement and Related
Documents (Distinctive Iron Project). Motion carried 7 -0.
6.3 Marketing Update
Ms. Eddy provided an updated of economic development marketing activities as
outlined in the staff report.
