The Parks and Recreation Master Plan Committee includes Parks and Recreation Director
Michael Hecker, Recreation Manager Steve Benoit,Parks Supervisor Rodney Schreifels,Park
Planner Chris Leeseberg and Park Commission Members,Mark Ahlness and Ryan
Holmgren.
You will be provided a hard copy of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan at the March 11
meeting. This draft is based on Parks and Recreation Commission work sessions from
November 2014 through February 2015.
We plan to have a work session with HKGi on Wednesday March 18 at 5:30 pm to review
this draft. Dinner will be provided. In order to effectively utilize our consultant's time,
please review the draft plan by Monday,March 16. If you have any comments or questions,
please email them to me (mhecker@ElkRiverMN.gov) by Monday,March 16 at 4:30 pm so I
can then forward them to HKGi so they can review your comments and questions prior to
the March 18 meeting.
Along with HKGi presenting the Park Dedication recommendations at the March 18 work
session, they will come back with any question they have on your submitted comments and
questions.
