Premise Permit Renewal for Community Charities
Community Charities has requested to renew its Premise Permit to operate
charitable gambling (pull tabs) at Elk River Bowl. According to the attached
expenditure of funds, Celebrity Bowl (now called Community Charities) has
met the city's requirement of spending 75% of its lawful expenditures within
the city's trade area during the past two years.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion adopting the attached-resolution approving Premise Permit
renewal for Community Charities of Minnesota.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISE PERMIT RENEWAL FOR
COMMUNITY CHARITIES OF MINNESOTA
WHEREAS,
Community Charities of Minnesota has made application to
the State Control Board for a Premise Permit Renewal; and,
WHEREAS,
the Premise Permit will allow charitable gambling on the
premises of Elk River Bowl located at 13161 Highway 10 in
the City of Elk River; and,
WHEREAS,
Community Charities has met the city's requirement of
spending 75 percent of its lawful expenditures within the
city's trade area during the past two years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota that a Premise Permit for Community Charities of
Minnesota be granted to allow charitable gambling operations at Elk River
Bowl, located at 13161 Highway 10, Elk River, Minnesota.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of January 2000.
