SUBJECT: WINTER CAMP-OUT REQUEST FOR
WOODLAND TRAILS PARK
A city resident, Sue Bergstrom, has asked permission to do an
overnight winter camp-out in Woodland Trails Park as a part of
a Malamute Dog Certification program she is participating in.
Staff ' s first indication to Ms . Bergstrom was that no overnight
camping is allowed in City parks. It was then suggested that
the request be forwarded to the Park and Recreation Commission
for their review and evaluation on a case by case basis.
