The commercial batting range operator can choose from a broad line of
pitching pitching machines and ball feed systems from Master Pitching Machine
Inc., the company with the most experience in designing, developing,
and improving pitching machines for commercial batting ranges. -/
All standard commercial machines are equipped with an electronic control .�
system mounted on the main frame of the machine so that installation
costs are minimized. The electronic control provides on-the-spot changing A-53 OR MA-5
of ball count per coin (up to 36 pitches on one coin or token) and minimum PITCHING MACHINE
pricing per play with only a screwdriver as a tool. U.S. Quarter coin
box mechanisms with separate locks for access to the coin tray and coin
mechanism compartments are standard. Electronic controls require a .
five-conductor low voltage wire between the machine and the coin box. Nom=

These models feature large ball hoppers (400 softball or 600 baseball
capacity) with a rotary agitator ball feed system that feeds either --'-`��`
baseballs or softballs. Only minor adjustment of the ball feed system
and a change to the appropriate pitching hand and ball stop is required % V
to change to baseball, fast-pitch softball, or slow-pitch softball. The -,}
arm brake systems which dampen the movement of the pitching arm after
each throw provide smooth pickup of the arm and extended life expectancy 3 3>
for all components of the throwing mechanism. The MA series machines \
feature a heavy 35am (1 3/8") main shaft and a special rugged arm and �,'—
hand system. The MA-2 utilizes a gearmotor drive system, while the MA-4
features a new all ball bearing belt and pulley system that requires A-55, 4
no routine lubrication. The A-55 is the latest standard dut y machine ITCHING MACHINE
with a ball bearing 25mm main shaft. The MA-4 and A-55 are new for 1991
and both employ new frame-mounted precision arm brake systems. /
