Cancel March 27, 2000, City Council Meeting
It has been confirmed that at least two City Councilmembers are not available
on Monday, March 27, 2000, and a third member of the council is also "likely"
to not be available that evening. Accordingly, it is appropriate for the City
Council to formally cancel this regular City Council meeting. Even if the third
City Councilmember can attend the meeting on March 27, it is unlikely that
much business would take place with two members being absent. The Finance
Department needs to know the meeting schedule in order to plan out the check
registers, so action should be taken on this issue tonight.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council cancel the March 27, 2000, City
Council meeting.
