Call Special Meetings for April 3 and May 24
The City Council needs to get together to discuss and review the financing for
the public improvements that are taking place this year and to generally
review the capital improvements for the next few years. This review includes
financing for the East Elk River street and storm sewer project, the Business
Center Drive/Waco Street project, and the 175th Avenue project. An
appropriate time is from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 3. This is the first Monday
of the month and would be a special City Council meeting.
A special meeting also needs to be called for the spring city tour with MnDOT
officials, city staff, and the City Council. The date for this (almost) annual
meeting is May 24, 2000. The meeting will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. at
City Hall. The introduction session will be followed by a bus tour of the city
and then a lunch to review and discuss issues of mutual concern. It is
anticipated the MnDOT/city tour will end about 2:00 p.m.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the following special meetings be called:
Monday, April 3, 2000, 6-8 p.m., for CIP Work
Wednesday, May 24, 2000, approximately 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for
MnDOT spring tour.
