RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING
TAX LEVIES FOR 1979
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River deems it necessary
to provide certain services to the citizens of the City of
Elk River; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River finds that sufficient
revenue, outside of a general property tax levy, do not exist to
support the desired services to the citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota that the following amounts be levied against eligible
property valuation in the City of Elk River for the purpose of
raising revenue to perform services for the citizens of Elk River.
General Fund: $186,000
Dutch Elm Fund: $ 2,500
Library Maintenance Fund: $ 13,000
Fire Pension Fund: $ 200
1971 Sanitary Sewer, Water &
Street Improvement Bon,' Issue: $ 7,400
1976 Street Improvement Bond Issue: $ 10,500
1977 General Obligation Refunding
Bonds: $ 30,200
1977 General Obligation Refunding
& Improvement Bonds: $ 16,400
1977 Sanitary Sewer Improvement
Bonds: $ 24,000
1977 Grant Anticipation Bonds: $ 8,100
1978 Certificates of Indebtedness: $ 25,000
TOTAL: $323,300
