RESOLUTION 79-22

RESOLUTION COMMITTING LOCAL FUNDS FOR
THE REPAIR OF THE LAKE ORONO DAM AND, THEREBY,
AMENDING RESOLUTION 79-14
WHEREAS, Resolution 79-14, which designated the source of local funds
and committed local funds for the repair of the Lake Orono
Dam, was adopted July 9, 1979, by the Elk River City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, Since the adoption of Resolution 79-14, additional cost
information has been made available to the City of Elk River
regarding the repair of the Lake Orono Dam; and,
WHEREAS, The new and revised cost estimates are in excess of those
utilized for Resolution 79-14.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River that Resolution 79-14 be amended to reflect a local
share for the repair of the Lake Orono Dam of approximately
$318,750 funded as follows:
• Special assessments to benefiting properties . . . . $155,000
City of Elk River General Obligation Bonds — the
remaining portion of the cost of the repair of
the Lake Orono Dam estimated to be 163,750
as of July 23, 1979.
Adopted this 23rd day of July, 1979,. by the Elk River City Council.
