Background /Discussion Activity in the Rehabilitation Loan Program has increased following the two informational meetings hosted by Central Minnesota Housing Partnership (CMHP) in March. Six applications were distributed and /or requested at the events. CMHP is currently verifying two projects: 606 Jefferson Lane NW — bids received and forwarded to owners, owners reviewing to select contractor and 420 Main Street NW — owners reviewing draft scope of work. Three projects are ready for construction pending repayment agreements from the HRA. All projects require a lead -based paint assessment which may increase the scope and cost scope of the projects. Staff continues to monitor rehabilitation activities and will continue partnering with CMHP on upcoming informational meetings.
