Discussion of request to hold a 5K at Woodland Trails Park.
Approval by motion for The Church of Latter-Day Saints to hold a 5K at Woodland Trails Park with the
following provisions:
• Park rental fee be waived.
• Damage deposit of$250.
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets, trash pick-up as needed.
• No marking of any kind are to be made on the trails. Cones and signs may be used.
• No motorized vehicles are to be used on the trails.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
• The Church of Latter Day Saints has requested the use of Woodland Trails Park to hold a 5K.
• The event is scheduled for Saturday,May 9 from 8:30- 11:30 a.m.
• Approximately 80 participants are expected.
• This is a first year event.
