Resolution IS- 16
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,000 donation from Dennis and Colleen
Ethen with the intent $900 be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for restoring
the Houlton Farm Property Conservation Area and $100 be used for a Name the Houlton
Property Naming Contest,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four - fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Mike Ethen for his donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dietz. Councilmembers Burandt, Westgaard, and Wagner
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor John J. Dietz, Council-members Barbara
Bur ndt, Matthew Westgaard, and Jennifer Wagner
and the following absent: Councilmeber Jerry Olsen
