EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, SHERBURNE COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS ."
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of
September , 1979, at the City Council chambers.
The following members were present:
Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Engstrom, Duitsman, Otto and Toth.
and the following members were absent:

Councilman Otto introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 4th day of
September , 19 79 , fixed the 4th day of September , 1979 , as the
date for a public hearing on the following proposed improvements:
Street Improvements: 6th Lane and Xenia Avenue
with respect to the following street(s) or area(s) , to-wit:
6th Lane and Xenia Avenue '
and
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for
the making of these improvements were given ten days' published notice of the
Council hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice and the
hearina was held and property owners heard on the 4th day of September, 1979;
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK
RIVER:
"1 . Such improvements as set out above and for the street(s)
or area(s) as above indicated are hereby ordered as proposed in
Council Resolution adopted September 4, , 1979
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Duitsman and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Councilmembers Duitsman, Engstrom, Otto, Toth.
The following voted against the same:
None
