IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 80-1
LAKE ORONO DAM REHABILITATION
411 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution 80-3, adopted
by the Elk River City Council on the 21st day of
April, 1980, CH2M Hill has prepared plans and speci-
fications for the following improvement: rehabili-
tation of Lake Orono Dam; and,
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 21st
day of April, 1980, fixed the 5th day of May, 1980,
as the date for a public hearing on the proposed
improvement for the rehabilitation of the Lake Orono
Dam; and,
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed for the making of these improvements were
given ten days ' published notice of the Council
hearing through two weekly publications of the re-
quired notice and the hearing was held and property
owners heard on the 5th day of May, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River that:
1 . Such plans and specifications, a copy of which
are on file in the City Administrator' s office,
are hereby approved.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed
in the feasibility report which was accepted by
Resolution 80-3 adopted on the 21st day of May,
1980.
3. The cost of the improvement will be both assessed
to benefitting properties and paid by general
property tax levy.
Adopted this 5th day of May, 1980, by the Elk River City Council.
