IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 80-1
LAKE ORONO DAM REHABILITATION
411 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the re-
habilitation of Lake Orono Dam, bids were received,
opened and tabulated according to law and the fol-
lowing bids were received complying with the adver-
tisement:

Industrial Builders 898, 625.00
Park Construction 1, 033, 880.00
Arcon Construction 1, 052, 422. 50
C. S. McCrossan 1,245, 480.00
and,
WHEREAS, it appears that Acton Construction is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River City Council
as follows:
1. The Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Acton Construction for the designated im-
provement.
2. The Engineer is hereby authorized and directed
to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except the three lowest
responsible bidders. When a contract is duly
executed, the deposits of the two remaining
unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bid
deposit of the successful bidder will be retained
until the performance bond has been executed and
approved, after which the bid deposit will be
returned.
Adopted this 5th day of May, 1980, by the Elk River City Council.
