80-028 RES • RESOLUTION 80-28 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the County Administration Building, Commissioner's Room, in said City on the 14th day of October, 1980, at 8:00 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Engstrom, Toth and Otto and the following were absent: Councilman Duitsman. Member Toth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SALK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WATERMAIN EXTENSION WHEREAS, after due Notice of Public Hearing on the construction of the Salk Junior High Watermain Extension, for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, hearing on said improvements was duly held and the Council heard all persons desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same; • NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota as follows: 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as described in the Notice of Hearing thereon be constructed, and the same are hereby ordered made. 2. The improvements described in said Notice of Hearing are hereby designated and shall be know as the Salk Junior High Watermain Project. 3. The consulting engineer, McCombs-Knutson Associates, Inc. is hereby directed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Engstrom and upon a vote being taken theron, the following voted in favor thereof: Engstrom, Toth and Otto and the following voted against the same: None.
