RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an Advertisement For Bids for the construction of
watermain extension to Salk Junior High School, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received. Complying
with the Advertisement;
Hennen Construction, Rogers, Minnesota $56,735.00
Bonine Excavating, Rogers, Minnesota $63,484.77
Ideal Enterprises, Eden Prairie, Minnesota $71,052.50
Randall Contracting, Cedar, Minnesota $72,196.75
C & H Contracting, Elk River, Minnesota $73,533.75
S & L Excavating, Clear Lake, Minnesota $79,202.50
Dawson Construction, Anoka, Minnesota $85,595.00
Widmer Bros. Spring Park, Minnesota $87,950.00
• AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Hennen Construction Company of Rogers,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA;
1) the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
a contract with Hennen Construction Company of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of
the City of Elk River for the installation of watermain according to the plans
and specifications thereofre approved by hte City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2) the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been signed.
