A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CITY COUNCIL ACTION
TAKEN IN RESOLUTION 80-28,
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT
OF THE SALK JUNIOR HIGH WATERMAIN
EXTENSION
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was duly held at the Elk River
Public Library on the 15th day of December at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Toth,
Duitsman, Engstrom and Otto and the following members were absent: None.
Member Engstrom introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 80-40, RATIFYING THE CITY COUNCIL ACTION TAKEN ON RESOLUTION
80-28, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SALK JUNIOR HIGH
WATER MAIN EXTENSION
WHEREAS, at a special meeting of the City Council held on October 14, 1980,
the City Council did approve Resolution 80-28, ordering the completion of the
Salk Junior High School Watermain Extension Project; and
410 WHEREAS, only three affirmative votes were recorded for Resolution 80-28;
and
WHEREAS, a minimum of four affirmative votes must be recorded in order to
be a properly ordered project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota that vote of the City Council on Resolution 80-28 is hereby ratified
by the entire City Council of the City of Elk River.
