CITY OF ELK RIVER
RESOLUTION NO. 81-10
ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Elk River that the
streets hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid Streets
under the provisions of the Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ELK RIVER, S3EURNE
COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
1) That the following described roads:
a) 221st Avenue between County Road 1 and Trunk Highway 169;
b) 198th Lane between Tyler Street and Carson Street;
c) Carson Street between 198th Lane and Trunk Highway 169;
d) 5th Avenue between County Road 13 and Trunk Highway 169;
e) Dodge Avenue between 5th Avenue and Elk Hills Drive;
f) Frontage Road between Elk Hills Drive and 193rd Avenue;
g) Evans Street between Railroad Drive and Main Street;
h) Railroad Drive between Evans Street and Main Street;
• i) Upland Street between Trunk Highway 10 and Main Street;
be, and hereby are established, located and designated Municipal State Aid Streets
of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the
State of Minnesota.
2) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to for-
ward two certifies copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation
for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said roads
or portions thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal
State Aid Streets of the City of Elk River, to be numbered and known as Municipal
State Aid Streets.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 16th day of March, 1981.
