SUBJECT: APRIL 5 , 1989 MEETING
The next City Recreation Board meeting is scheduled for 7: 00 p.m.
on Wedneday, April 5 , 1989, at the Elk River City Hall Conference
Room. The Elk River City Council has accepted the invitation
from the Recreation Board to attend this 4/5/89 Recreation Board
meeting to discuss Park and Recreation priorities/wish list.
Attached for your information are the 3/1/89 Recreation Board
minutes as prepared by Rolfe Anderson. The City Councilmembers
are encouraged to closely review these minutes, especially item
#4 , which relates to Park and Recreation priorities as discussed
by the Recreation Board. Also attached for your review is the
parks section of the Growth Management Plan and the Parks and
Recreation budget pages from the 1989 General Fund Budget. I
hope that this information will assist everybody in preparation
for the discussion between the Recreation Board and the City
Council on Park and Recreation priorities/wish list. If you
