Dear Sirs,
The following information is provided to light the Elk River softball complex.
We propose tof=light the softball fields using a total of 12 poles, We
will light the fields to 30 footcandles of light infield and 20 footcandles
of light outfield. Musco will provide electical drawings, electrical materials
list, structural design, lighting design, and a factory trained technician '
Ank to supervise installation. The Musco lighting system is factory assembled,

handled locally with volunteer help. Because all of the technical aspects
of the lighting are completed at the factory, we can guarantee that the
lighting will be correct on the field. The lighting proposed for your
softball complex will give you one of the nicest lit facilities in the State.
Proposal includes the following• $39,416.00 or 5 payment lease/purchase
$9,6'f9.00/year.
1. Provide complete electrical, structural and lighting design,
2. Provide factory assembled lighting system consisting of 1500 watt,
metal halide lamps, reflectors, impact resistant glass lenses,
tubular steel crossarms, ballasts, capacitors and double fusing
of each luminaire,
3. Luminaires will be factory wired through the pole mounted ballast box.
4 . Fixtures will be factory aimed and require no aiming from on top
of the pole.
5. All pole clamping hardware will be provided.
6. Supervision of installation will be provided.
7. Provide 5 year warranty on aiming accuracy of lighting.
8. Provide two year warranty on parts and labor.
The lease/purchase option allows payment to be spread over a five year
period. Musco would be responsible for all maintenance on the lighting
over the lease period. At the end of the lease, the City would own the
lighting system. The lease could be paid in full anytime during the
lease period with no penalty nor additional interest.

The price for each pole is $1 ,000.00 , F.O.B. our plant . The
poles are designed for a maximum of 32 EPA ( 10 lighting fixtures) .
Included with the poles are couplings and handholes used
for installing lights and a lightning rod.
