Tractor Purchase
On March 27, 2000 bids were received for the purchase of a 4 wheel drive 60 horsepower
park tractor. The following bids were received:
· Kubota Tractor M6800SDC
Olson Power & Equipment
· John Deere Tractor 5410
Scharber & Sons, Inc.
The following quotes for a tow behind mower were received:

The 2000 budget contains funds for the tractor purchase of $26,600.00, and a tow behind
mower for $8,000.00.
Recommendation:
Purchase the Kubota M6800SDC tractor from Olson Power and Equipment for the sum
of $22,692.70, which includes the trade in ora 1969 IH tractor for $4,800.00. Purchase
the Progressive 12' TD65 tow behind mower from Isanti County Equipment for the stun
of $7,295.00.
