Councilmember Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 15- 19
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $399 iPad donation from the Minnesota
Chiefs of Police Association via raffle with the intent it be used by Darren McKernan, the
raffle winner, for work purposes within the Elk River Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association
for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen Westgaard, Burandt, and Wagner
and the following against: none whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

and the following absent: no one.
