SUBJECT: Comprehensive Plan Update
The HRA representatives serving on the city's Comprehensive Plan Taskforce are
Commissioner Toth and Commissioner Lieser. Commissioner Thompson is also a member
of the Taskforce. The Taskforce members are requested to provide an update back to the
HRA on recent discussions/activities of the Comprehensive Plan Taskforce.
• Also, the Director of Planning has included the attached memo requesting a special meeting
of the HRA be called in order to review and comment on the draft Comprehensive Plan.

SUBJECT: Call Special HRA Meeting
HKGi is nearing the Comprehensive Plan drafting stage. We have identified a schedule for
review and adoption of the final plan. A draft of the entire plan will be prepared for
distribution on May 30, 2003. Part of the review process requires each of the City's
commissions to review and comment on the draft plan.
In order to provide adequate time for the HRA to review and comment on the Plan, staff
would like to schedule a special meeting of the Authority for Thursday,June 5, 2003 at 5:00
p.m. Hopefully,a majority of the Commission members can be in attendance that evening.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the HRA call a special meeting for the purpose of reviewing the draft
Comprehensive Plan for Thursday,June 5, 2003 at 5:00 p.m.in the City Hall Training Room.
