A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CITY COUNCIL ACTION
TAKEN IN RESOLUTION 81-16
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT AND
DIRECTING PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, was duly held at the Elk River
Public Library of the 9th day of June, 1981 at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Toth,
Duitsman, Engstrom and Schuldt and the following members were absent: None.
Member Toth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 81-30, RATIFYING THE CITY COUNCIL ACTION TAKEN ON RESOLUTION
81-16, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT AND
DIRECTING PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Engstrom and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof:
Councilmembers Toth, Duitsman, Engstrom and Schuldt
and the following voted against the same: None
WHEREAS, at a regular.meeting of the City Council held on June 9, 1981 ,
the City Council did approve Resolution 81-16, ordering the sanitary sewer
interceptor project and directing preparation of final plans and specifications;
and,
WHEREAS, only three affirmative votes were recorded for.Resolution 81-16;
and
WHEREAS, a minimum of four affirmative votes must be recorded in order to
be a properly ordered project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
0 Minnesota that vote of the City Council of Resolution 81-16 is hereby ratified
by the entire City Council of the City of Elk River.
