41/0 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
HELD: SEPTEMBER 8, 1981
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota, was duly held
at the Elk River Public Library on the 8th day of September, 1981 at 8:00
o'clock P.M.
The following members were present: Schuldt, Engstrom, Toth and Duitsman
and Mayor Hinkle and the following were absent: None.
Member Engstrom introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 81-40
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO PETITION BY 100%
OF OWNERS OF AFFECTED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition pertaining to sanitary
sewer improvements located on 191st Lane Northwest, Ridgewood 2nd Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota as follows:
a. the aforesaid petition is signed by all the owners of real property
abutting upon the street named as the location of the improvement in the
petition,
b. said property owners request in the petition that the improvement be
constructed and that the entire cost of the improvement be assessed against
their property,
c. the consulting Engineer has recommended that said improvement is
feasible and can best be made as proposed.
and said improvement is hereby ordered.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Schuldt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Schuldt, Engstrom, Toth and Duitsman and the following voted against the
same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
