A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE ORONO DAM
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the Rehabilitation of the Orono Dam, and the
contract price for such improvement is $1,000,312.10, and the expenses
incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to
$178,420.25, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $1,178,732.35;
and of this cost the City will pay $373,244.81 as its share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $206,487.54.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forth-
with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve-
ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.

RESOLUTION 81-47
SA RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATING OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the construction of an interceptor sewer
extending from the lift station near Main Street and Evans, to Industrial
Boulevard, approximately 575 feet west of Triangle Road, and the contract
price for such improvement is $780,000 and the expenses incurred or to be
incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $271,635.65, so that
the total cost of the improvement will be $1,051,635.65; and of this cost
the City will pay $766,428.65 as its share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $285,207.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forth-
with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such
improvement against every assessable lot, piece of parcel of land within
the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by
law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office
• for public inspection.
