RESOLUTION NO. 82-4
RESOLUTION RESCINDING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL
FOR A PROJECT PROPOSED BY CAR-SON HOMES, INC.
RECITALS:
A. By resolution adopted at a meeting of this Council held
April 2 , 1979 , this Council gave its preliminary approval
to a proposal made by Car-Son Homes, Inc. , (Car-Son) , that
the City undertake financing assistance under the Minnesota
Municipal Industrial Development Act Chapter 474 , Minnesota
Statutes (Chapter 474) , for a project proposed to consist
of a development of residential properties in Tamarack,
then a new subdivision within the City owned or controlled
by Car-Son.
B. Representatives of Car-Son have now requested that the
City proceed with the financing to which the resolution
0 adopted April 2 , 1979 pertains.
C. After careful consideration, this Council has concluded that
it is not in the best interests of the City to authorize the
requested financing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the resolution adopted
April 2 , 1979 , with respect to financing housing pursuant to
Chapter 474 Car-Son Homes, Inc. for the development of residential
properties in the Tamarack subdivision is hereby rescinded and
revoked.
