A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STOP SIGNS AT THE
INTERSECTION OF 5TH STREET AND PROCTOR AVENUE
WHEREAS, The intersection of 5th Street and Proctor Avenue in the City of Elk River
poses a safety hazard to the citizens of Elk River; and,
WHEREAS, The intersection of 5th Street and Proctor Avenue has been the site of
numerous near-misses and traffic accidents; and,
WHEREAS, The installation of traffic control devices other than a stop sign would
be ineffective in regulating the intersection of 5th Street and Proctor
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that stop
signs be erected at the intersection of 5th Street and Proctor Avenue, stopping
traffic travelling east and west on 5th Street at its intersection with
Proctor Avenue.
