A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING IN THE MUNICIPAL
PARKING LOTS TO FOUR HOURS
WHEREAS, Section 1100.10, Subsection 3a, grants the City Council authority to
designate by resolution certain areas of the City where the right to park
is limited.
WHEREAS the City Council has deemed it desirable to specify a parking time limit
in the municipal parking lot bounded on the north by Trunk Highway #10,
on the west by King Avenue, on the south by Main street, and on the east
by Jackson Avenue; and,
WHEREAS the City Council has deemed it desirable to establish a parking time limit
in the municipal parking lot located north of the Burlington Northern
Railroad tracks and south of Railroad Drive, and east of Jackson Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that the
above-described municipal parking lots be restricted to a maximum of
four (4) hour parking.
