RESOLUTION 83-13
EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
0 OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER HELD JULY 7, 1983
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota was duly held at the Elk River
Public Library on the 7th day of July, 1983, at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Duitsman,
Schuldt and Gunkel.
The following members were absent: Councilman Engstrom.
Councilmember Duitsman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 83-13, ORDERING THE COMPLETION OF WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS RELATED
TO THE GATES AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition pertaining to watermain improve-
ments located on Parcel K of a preliminary plat for Elk River Plaza Planned
Unit Development on file at the Elk River City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota as follows:
III a. the aforesaid petition is signed by all the owners of real property
abutting upon the parcel named as the location of the improvements
in the petition,
b. said property owners request in the petition that the improvement be
constructed and that the entire cost of the improvement be assessed
against their property,
c. the consulting Engineer has recommended that said improvement is
feasible and can best be made as proposed.
and said improvement is hereby ordered and the bid awarded to Barbarossa and Sons Inc.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Schuldt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Duitsman and Schuldt.
The following voted against the same: Councilmember Gunkel.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 7th day of July, 1983.
