OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER HELD MAY 14, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Elk River, Minnesota was duly called and held at the First National
Bank Community Room in said City on the 14th day of May, 1984, at 7:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers
Schuldt, Gunkel, Duitsman, and Engstrom
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Gunkel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 84-13; A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE EAST MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, after due notice of public hearing on the construction of the East Main
Street Improvement project for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, hearing
on said improvements was duly held and the City Council heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota,
411" as follows:
1 . It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as
described in the notice of hearing thereon be constructed and the
same are hereby ordered made.
2. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that street, storm sewer and
sanitary sewer recommended and found to be feasible by Consulting
Engineers Diversified are hereby ordered made.
3. The improvements described in said notice of hearing are hereby designated
and shall be known as the East Main Street Improvement Project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Duitsman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof:
Councilmembers Duitsman, Schuldt, Gunkel and Engstrom
The following voted against the same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 14th day of May,
1984.
