84-016 RES RESOLUTION 84-16 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER HELD JUNE 4, 1984 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota Was duly called and held at the Elk River Public Library in said City on the 4th day of June, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hinkle, Councilmembers Schuldt, Gunkel, Duitsman and Engstrom The following members were absent: None Councilmember Duitsman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 84-16, A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY AND ORDERING THE WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT FOR THE EAST MAIN STREET PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the City of Elk River construct watermain improvements to that portion of the East Main Street area as described in accordance with the preliminary plans and feasibility report prepared by John Gilbertson of Consulting Engineers Diversified, consult- ing engineer; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by the consulting engineer that said project improvements are feasible and should thus be made as proposed; and, • WHEREAS, after due notice of public hearing on the construction of the Watermain Improvement project for the City of Elk River, Minnesota, hearing on said improvement was duly held and the City Council heard all persons desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota as follows: 1. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as described in the notic of hearing thereon be constructed and the same are hereby ordered made. 2. The improvements described in said notice of hearing are hereby designed and shall be known as the Watermain Improvement for the East Main Street Project.
