Action Requested
Approve, by motion, a pyrotechnic fireworks display license for RES Specialty Pyrotechnics to conduct a
pyrotechnic display from the Elk River High School football field on July 4, 2015,with the following
conditions:
1. Fire watch shall be established per direction of the fire marshal.
2. Applicant must contact the fire marshal at 763.238.3489 to schedule pre-loading and post-loading
inspections.
Background/Discussion
RES Specialty Pyrotechnics has applied for, on behalf of the city, a pyrotechnic display license to conduct
fireworks on July 4, 2015, from the Elk River High School football field.
The Fireworks Operator Certification has been verified with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The Fire Department has reviewed and approved the site plan.
