Mayor to administer the Oath of Office to the following on-call firefighters:
• Jacob Collins ■ Joe R. Libor
• Garrett Erdman ■ Casey Neumann
• Zachary Hoffman ■ Ken Smith
• Chad Kreuser ■ Brandon Vito
Background/Discussion
On October 7, 2014, eight firefighter recruits graduated from the Elk River Fire Academy, an intense
multi-month classroom and hands-on training program. Following completion of the academy, the
recruits had to successfully finish their one-year probationary period. On April 21, 2015, all eight recruits
came off probation.
Mayor Dietz is asked to administrator the Oath of Office to the new firefighters. The oath will be
administered as a group.
Following the Oath, their badges will be pinned to their uniform.
