Receive information regarding annual financial overview.
Background/Discussion
Annually, as part of our long-term financial planning,we review the financial model for the city's General
Fund. The interactive financial model was developed by the finance director over the past few years, and
is now updated with our final 2014 numbers.
Key aspects/metrics from the Excel model will be displayed in a PowerPoint format.
Here are a few of the areas that will be covered:
■ 2014 General Fund numbers
■ Various levies
■ Market value trends
■ Tax base composition
■ Debt Service levies and debt per capita
■ Key Metrics
Also, if at any time throughout the budget and Capital Improvement Plan process the Council would like
to try specific scenarios, please let staff know.
