Discussion of request to hold event at Orono Park.
Approval by motion for the Elk River Food Co-Op to hold their Picnic in the Park event at Orono Park
with the following provisions:
• Park rental fee be waived.
• Damage deposit of$250.
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets, trash pick-up as needed.
• One shelter area will be permitted as dedicated space for the event
• Orono Park will remain open to the public
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
• The Elk River Food Co-Op has requested the use of Orono Park to hold their spring Picnic in the
Park event.
• The event is scheduled for Saturday,May 30 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
• Approximately 100-200 participants are expected.
• This is a first year event.
