Discussion of request to hold event at Babcock Park.
Approval by motion for Roland Ring-Jarvi to hold the Mighty Mississippi Canoe Race at Babcock Park
with the following provisions:
• $40 Rental Fee.
• Damage deposit of$250.
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets, trash pick-up as needed.
• Babcock Park will remain open to the public.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
• Roland Ring-Jarvi has requested the use of Babcock Park to hold the Mighty Mississippi Canoe Race.
• The event is scheduled for Saturday,August 1 to begin at 7:30 a.m.
• This is a for-profit event.
