Last year at this time the late winter in addition to a rainy spring delayed the start of several
of our recreational leagues. The spring Adult Softball Leagues and spring Youth Flag
Football Leagues were delayed by three weeks. This year,however,the weather has
cooperated and all spring programs were started as planned.

The Members Only Spring Fling Pie Social and dance was held at Lions Park Center on
April 30. Music was provided by Three Little Guy and everyone enjoyed an afternoon of
music,a slice of delicious pie, and friendly conversation. Earlier in the month a Vintage Hat
show and luncheon was held at the Activity Center.This event attracted many new seniors
to the center and numerous positive comments from attendees were received by staff.
