Action Requested
Adopt, by motion, the attached resolution acknowledging a $250 contribution to the City of Elk River.
Background/Discussion
The Fraternal Order of Eagles Elk River #33264 donated $250 to the city to be used towards the USPCA
Region 12 K9 trials.
Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 465.03, donations and contributions shall be approved for acceptance and
resolutions are required to be adopted by a 2/3 majority vote.
Financial Impact
The City of Elk River received $250 in donations.

Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 15-
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community;and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $250 donation from the Fraternal Order of
Eagles #33264 with the intent it be used by the City of Elk River for USPCA Region 12 K9
trials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Fraternal Order of Eagles for their
donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
