SUBJECT: Comprehensive Plan Update
The HRA representatives serving on the city's Comprehensive Plan Task Force are
Commissioner Toth and Commissioner Lieser. Commissioner Thompson is also a member
of the Task Force. The Task Force members are requested to provide an update back to the
HRA on recent discussions/activities of the Comprehensive Plan Task Force.
The last Task Force meeting was held on July 17th at Lions Park Center.
The final two Task Force meetings are scheduled for:
• July 31, 2003 -Joint meeting with the Planning Commission and City Council at
Lions Park Center
• August 21, 2003 -Public Open House at River of Life Church
In September, the Planning Commission will review the Comprehensive Plan and make a
recommendation to the City Council for final adoption in October.
